Plug the N1 into a different Windows computer. If it works there, your gaming PC has a software/driver conflict. If it fails on two PCs, the controller’s internal chip may be faulty.

If the driver installer itself refuses to run, it may be designed for an older version of Windows. Right-click the driver setup file (.exe). Select Properties and click the Compatibility tab.
