If you are the type of viewer who gets hung up on logic, you will hate this season. The plot holes are large enough to drive a truck through. However, if you can accept that Prison Break operates in a heightened reality wherephysics and logistics bow down to the power of Michael Scofield’s brain, you’ll find a lot to enjoy. The "tattoo" reveal this season is a clever twist on the show’s most iconic trope.
Lincoln, with help from C-Note (now a private security contractor) and Sucre, travels to Yemen. Inside Ogygia, Michael has already planned an elaborate escape involving tunnels, diversionary fires, and a corrupt warden. He is aided by a fellow inmate named (later revealed to be T-Bag’s son).
The final showdown takes place in a warehouse. Michael recreates a miniature version of a crime scene to frame Jacob for the murder of a CIA director—the very crime Jacob used to blackmail Michael years ago.

This premiere opens with Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell being released from prison. He receives a mysterious photograph of Michael Scofield inside a new prison, along with the hidden word "Ogygia." Lincoln discovers this is a prison in Sana'a, Yemen. While a skeptical Sara refuses to believe Michael could be alive, Lincoln resolves to travel to Yemen to find the truth. His investigation leads him to the Ogygia prison, setting the stage for the season's central rescue mission.
The escape plan goes live, but cell block politics ruin the timing. Michael attempts to steal a keycard, but a fellow inmate betrays him.
