For players who love variety, the beta arsenal is a tantalizing "what if." The most famous example is the Uzi submachine gun. While not usable by the player in the final game, its model remains as a statue held by Big Smoke in the game world. A fully-functional revolver was also planned for GTA V but was cut, although it later appeared in the Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC. The military-grade attack helicopter, the Buzzard, was originally supposed to be unarmed in its standard spawn at helipads, which is a stark contrast to its heavily-armed nature in the final release.
