Ensure you aren't using a "charge-only" cable.

What are you using (e.g., RK3588, RK3399)? What operating system is installed on your host computer?

To force the Rockchip SoC into a flashing state, you must hold down specific hardware buttons while connecting it to your PC. Completely power off the Rockchip device. Open on your PC.

Some devices won't enter MaskROM mode unless they receive sufficient power. If your device has a dedicated power input (e.g., a barrel jack), use it. The power provided by a computer's USB port alone may be insufficient.

Change the setting to for both "On battery" and "Plugged in". Disable Driver Signature Enforcement
