Recognizing the demands of a modern workforce, MINDEF has also improved connectivity for NSmen during ICT. Business centres with wireless internet access, photocopiers, and even Skype facilities are being set up in selected camps, including Kranji Camp III. This allows NSmen to access their office networks and handle work tasks outside of training hours, helping them better balance their professional and national service commitments. Security is strictly managed, with these devices only usable within designated business centres.
